About Darragh -

As one of the best Junior talents in Irish Cycling in recent years Darragh brought with him certain expectation in to the senior ranks and didn't disappoint. Darragh won several races on home soil in 2017 including the prestigious Des Hanlon and confirmed his talent on the international stage with 2 top 10 finishes in the Rás and strong displays in the Tour de l'Avenir and World Championships last season. Taking on his 3rd season in the U23 ranks in 2018 and possessing a fast finish from a small group we're excited to follow how his season unfolds. Darragh's aim is to become a WorldTour rider.

These performances saw Darragh sign for one of France's most prominent Elite teams, CC Nogent sur Oise. 2018 will see Darragh experience French Elite racing at it's best.

In his opening 2 races in France this season Darragh stepped on to the podium in both with a strong display in Grand Prix du Pays d’Aix coming 3rd and 2nd in GP Chateaudun.

If results like this continue we see Darragh as being one of the stronger U23's this season with ambition around U23 Nations Cups and Elite French races hopefully a spring board to some interest from WorldTour squads.

A punchy rider with a strong sprint, keep a look out for Darragh on the French scene.
